1. Who we are

Wiz Digital Services Ltd (“Wiz”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a data & AI consultancy registered in Ireland. Questions about this notice? Write to info@wizcondigital.com.
 

2. Scope

This notice explains how we handle personal data obtained through wizdigital.ie (the “Site”) and any microsites or landing pages that link here. It does not cover customer data processed within cloud platforms under a separate services contract.
 

3. Data we collect

  • Information you give us – contact-form details, e-mail messages, webinar sign-ups, CVs.

  • Automatic data – IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring pages, time-stamps.

  • Cookies & similar tech – analytics, preference and marketing cookies (see Section 9).

  • Third-party sources – LinkedIn or event partners when you consent to share details with us.
     

4. Why we use your data & lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries (legitimate interest).

  • Delivering newsletters or event invites (consent; you can unsubscribe any time).

  • Marketing our services to relevant professionals (legitimate interest, balanced against your rights).

  • Running analytics to improve Site performance and security (legitimate interest).

  • Recruitment – assessing your application (steps prior to entering a contract).

  • Complying with law — tax, fraud prevention, sanction checks (legal obligation).
     

5. Sharing

We never sell data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who host the Site, send e-mail or run analytics—bound by confidentiality.

  • Regulators or law-enforcement when required.

  • Successors if we reorganise or sell the business (your rights stay intact).
     

6. International transfers

Where partners sit outside the EEA/UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses plus UK Addendum. Copies are available on request.
 

7. Security

We apply ISO 27001-aligned controls: TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, least-privilege access, quarterly penetration tests and 24-month code warranty on our own components.
 

8. Retention

  • Enquiry data — 24 months after last contact.

  • Marketing preferences — until you withdraw consent.

  • Recruitment data — 12 months unless you join Wiz.

  • Cookie identifiers — see individual lifetimes in the Cookie Banner.
    We may keep records longer if law or litigation requires it.
     

9. Cookies

We use:

  • Essential cookies – needed for core functionality.

  • Analytics cookies – e.g. Microsoft Clarity, to see how pages perform.

  • Marketing cookies – LinkedIn Insight Tag; used only if you opt-in.
    You can manage cookies via our banner or your browser settings.
     

10. Your rights (EEA/UK GDPR)

  • Access, rectify, erase or restrict your data.

  • Object to processing or direct-marketing.

  • Port your data to another controller.

  • Withdraw consent at any time.

  • Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local regulator.

11. Changes to this notice

Material changes will be flagged on the Site and, where appropriate, e-mailed to you. Check this page for the latest version.
